THE PREDICTION
Toulon were able to navigate through an expected difficult challenge away at Pau last Saturday with a 29-33 victory that kept them in touch with the top teams in the Top 14. There is scope for quick revenge here as they host Bayonne, a side who beat them 35-29 in a real shock back in November as the Challenge Cup runners-up struggled for early form. Bayonne have since lost six of seven Top 14 matches played including an absolute trouncing by in-form Clermont Auvergne last time out by 73-3. The hosts should be targeting a pretty hefty score of their own as they hunt for bonus points and Bayonne’s season looks to be unravelling now. Toulon to cover -15 is a reasonable outcome here.
