Clermont Auvergne lost in the quarter-finals of the European Champions Cup last Sunday in an all-French clash with Toulouse. They can return to the Top 14 with their heads held high, though, and are in the chasing pack of teams on Toulouse’s tail for the title with six matches left to play.
