THE PREDICTION
Cardiff Blues were able to win a Pro14 match for the first time since late January after a few postponements and two defeats to Irish sides Munster and Connacht, beating lowly Benetton 14-29 last Sunday. They will have a tough time making that a campaign-ending streak, though, as travelling Edinburgh edged a thrilling 14-15 smash and grab away at Connacht last Saturday to see their impressive form trend in the right direction. This is one of Edinburgh’s three remaining Pro14 fixtures with two games in-hand left to play and they could end up as high as third if they win the lot. With that in mind and their last excellent performance behind them this should be a really exciting battle at Cardiff Arms Park and could be incredibly tight come the final whistle. The hosts top edge to victory in a match that comes under 40 points looks a reasonable option for what could be a tetchy 80 minutes.
