Roma vs Bologna prediction

The first-leg was typically even for teams facing off against each other from the same country, sharing a 1-1 draw at the Renato Dall’Ara. Federico Bernadeschi scored a second-half penalty before Lorenzo Pellegrini equalised for the Giallorossi.

The Romans come into this one on the back of a very frustrating 2-1 loss away to Como at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, as they drift further from the top four in Serie A due to a run of just two victories from ten matches across all competitions. Bologna had discovered some much-needed form about a month or so ago but they are themselves extremely inconsistent and below their best.

This is a game between two sides lacking confidence and fluency – and it would not be a surprise to see a long night in store down in Rome.
