Roberto Bautista Agut is yet to pick up consecutive wins this season and has lost seven of his 11 matches in 2026. He dropped down to compete in the Cap Cana Challenger a fortnight ago, but he lost in the second-round to Valentin Royer. He won his first-round match in Miami after beating James Duckworth but was then defeated by Karen Khachanov.
He faces Titouan Droguet in round one. There have been encouraging signs for the Frenchman this season, as he reached his first ATP semi-final at the Open Occitanie as a qualifier in Montpellier.
