Rennes preview: Entertaining Rennes
Under the management of former Aston Villa and Newcastle United right-back Habib Beye, Stade Rennais sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table with the eight matches so far this season having consisted of 36 goals.
They most recently defeated an impressive newly-promoted Paris FC side a couple of weeks ago in the capital city, courtesy of an 81st minute strike scored by Switzerland international striker Breel Embolo.
Monaco preview: Inconsistent Monegasque
In the October international break, Monaco took the decision to part company with Adi Hutter and he was replaced by Sebastien Pocognoli, following winning the Belgian league title with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise last season.
The Monegasque begin the weekend sitting tucked inside the top six but head into this one on the back of back-to-back losses in Ligue 1, most recently suffering a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Lens at Stade Louis II a couple of weeks ago.

Rennes vs Monaco prediction
Stade Rennais have been a bit haphazard and inconsistent throughout the campaign but the hosts will still be expected to push themselves towards the European spots. They face a Monaco side that have put in some brilliant performances under Pocognoli, but they have also thrown into the mix a couple of horror displays. As a result, unpredictable chaos appears in store at Roazhon Park.
Rennes vs Monaco tip: Over 2.5 goals
