Rennes vs Brest prediction

Under the management of Habib Beye, Rennes begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six in Ligue 1. The hosts had their four-match winning streak ended last weekend as they suffered a 5-0 annihilation at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes last week.

They now face a Brest side that, coached by former Sunderland player Eric Roy, have been the overachievers in Ligue 1 in recent seasons, and they do sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table. They have been improved of late with a 1-0 win over Monaco making it three wins on the bounce for Brest.

Brest have pulled off some impressive results of late and they will fancy themselves in Rennes, but it should be a fun and balanced watch for the neutral.

Rennes vs Brest tip: Both teams to score
