Real Betis vs Nottingham Forest prediction

After a brilliant end to last season, Real Betis have lost several key players over the summer but they have managed to rediscover some of that form with the re-signing of Antony from Manchester United. They come into this one on the back of an impressive 3-1 defeat of Real Sociedad at Seville’s athletics ground.

They now face the manager who won the trophy last season with Tottenham Hotspur, Ange Postecoglou. His reign in charge of Nottingham Forest has started with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Arsenal, a defeat to Swansea City in the EFL Cup after being 2-0 up and then a 1-1 draw with newly-promoted Burnley.

Nottingham Forest need to find some fluency and quickly for Postecoglou but, with home advantage, albeit not at the Benito Villamarin, Betis would have to be viewed as slight favourites.

Real Betis vs Nottingham Forest tip: Double chance – Real Betis to win or draw
