Real Betis vs Barcelona prediction

Real Betis are generally strong on home soil and Estadio Benito Villamarin remains one of the most intimidating venues in Spain, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side usually productive in front of their own fans.

They come into this game in decent form having won their last three games in all competitions, which includes an excellent 0-2 success at Sevilla last weekend.

Opponents Barcelona, though, are flying in La Liga having recently taken top spot from arch rivals Real Madrid. Since losing El Clasico at the end of October, Hansi Flick's side have won their last five league games, scoring 17 goals in the process.

That is an ominous sign for Real Betis, but the hosts will relish the challenge of taking on their illustrious opponents on home turf.

Though Barcelona have been scoring goals for fun, they haven't been keeping many clean sheets of late. In their last 14 games across all competitions, the Catalan giants have recorded just one shut-out, so both teams to score has a strong chance of landing in this fixture. Adding that concession to a Barcelona win is a significant betslip booster.
