RB Leipzig vs Eintracht Frankfurt prediction

You can’t help but feel that Eintracht Frankfurt badly missed star striker Jonathan Burkardt in their game at home to Wolfsburg last weekend as they lacked cutting edge going forward without one of the most potent forwards that we’ve seen in the Bundesliga this season. It looked like costing them the game entirely before a last-gasp penalty was won, which substitute Michy Batshuayi converted to rescue Frankfurt a point.

For RB Leipzig, they lost further ground on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich despite keeping hold of second place as Niko Kovac’s side were held to a goalless draw away at Borussia Monchengladbach. Back at home though, Leipzig are likely to prove significantly more effective from an attacking point of view in this contest.

When factoring in Burkardt’s absence, it does tip the scales in RB Leipzig’s favour here, especially with home advantage being in their favour. Therefore, consider backing them to come out on top against Dino Toppmoller’s side.
