Rangers Preview: Turning it around
Philippe Clement has reportedly come to the brink of the sack within the last month but the former Monaco boss remains in charge of the Bears and things have slightly begun to turn around or at least improve for the hosts in terms of both performances and results.
They enjoyed a famous and impressive win at the Allianz Riviera a couple of weeks ago, defeating Nice by four goals to one. They come into this one on the back of a 3-0 win at Ross County and they have now enjoyed four victories on the trot.
Tottenham Preview: As ‘Spurs-y’ as you can get
Ange Postecoglou has now received some heavy criticism from Tottenham Hotspur supporters and he is under immense pressure with the north Londoners having won just one, a 4-0 win at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City, of their last seven matches in all competitions.
They went 2-0 up against Chelsea at the weekend but eventually suffered a 4-3 loss to the Blues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to back up a 1-0 hammering at the hands of AFC Bournemouth, which itself followed an underwhelming 1-1 draw at home to Fulham.
Rangers Team News: Keeping it the same
Rangers have been in impressive form of late so they will want to ensure they are keeping as close to the same eleven as possible. They do have a few injury concerns such as Wales international attacking duo Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Butland; Sterling, Souttar, Propper, Jefte; Barron, Raskin; Cerny, Diomande, Bajrami; Igamane
Unavailable: Cortes (Injured), Kasanwirjo (Injured), Lawrence (Injured), Matondo (Injured)

Tottenham Team News: Defensive rotation
Ange Postecoglou would have liked to have eased Micky van de Ven into the squad and he said the plan was always to take him off at the weekend but he instead came off after 'feeling something', whilst Cristian Romero, upon return, was forced off with an injury.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Udogie; Sarr, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Son
Unavailable: Vicario (Injured), Davies (Injured), Odobert (Injured), Richarlison (Injured), Romero (Injured)
Questionable: Van de Ven (Fitness), Moore (Illness), Johnson (Injured)

Rangers vs Tottenham Prediction
Rangers have started the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League league phase very well as they chase a potential top eight finish. They begin the match day sitting tucked inside the top eight, sitting a place above Tottenham Hotspur on goal difference and they have been performing well of late. Rangers will fancy their chances of getting at a vulnerable Spurs side this week but, as ever, Tottenham do have an abundance of talent in attack with Postecoglou returning to Glasgow with a genuinely very entertaining side at his disposal. A high-scoring affair at Ibrox seems likely.
Rangers vs Tottenham Tip: Over 2.5 goals
