Rangers come into this one on the back of defeating Hibernian by two goals to nil at Ibrox in the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup. However, after humiliation at the hands of Club Brugge in the playoffs of the UEFA Champions League, ‘Gers are winless in their five Scottish Premiership matches so far this season.
Genk most recently suffered a 2-1 loss to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise at the Cegeka Arena in their most recent outing, the other day.
