Rafael Jodar wowed the Barcelona crowd as the youngster continued his winning streak at the expense of Cameron Norrie.

The Spanish teenager made it eight victories in a row with a dominant 6-3 6-2 success over the Brit to reach the biggest semi final of his career. 

The world number 55 will now face Arthur Fils for a place in the final after the Frenchman defeated second seed Lorenzo Musetti 6-3 6-4. 

This will be a first meeting and a clash of two players in excellent form right now. 

Jodar’s lower ranking is unlikely to mean much here with both players capable of winning this. The first set may be key and give an indicator as to who has the momentum, but a punt on it going three doesn’t seem unwise either.
