He now takes on a former finalist in Alexandre Muller. The Frenchman reached his third quarter-final at the ATP 250 event after getting past Vit Kopriva in straight sets. It was an attacking performance from Muller, who fired 28 winners on his way to winning 6-3 7-6 (3). This is the first time he has won consecutive matches in 2026.
Muller is enjoying a bit of a resurgence and performs well at this tournament historically, but Jodar’s talent is always rising, and he has a strong enough game to come through this one.
