Racing Santander vs Elche prediction
Having raced into a 2-0 lead in their opener against Villarreal before being pegged back before half-time and then settling for a draw in the second half, Racing then succumbed to a slender 1-0 loss to Getafe at the Coliseum with the consistently obdurate hosts managing to hold the fairly enterprising Racing at arms’ length.
Elche survived relegation on the final day of last season with former FC Porto boss Martin Anselmi drafted in to replace Eder Sarabia. The Valencians started their season with a 1-1 draw against newly-promoted Deportivo La Coruna at Riazor in Galicia before being hammered 5-0 at home by defending champions Barcelona.
Racing will again fancy themselves to get on the front foot with their home advantage and so both teams scoring seems a decent bet with Elche themselves a proactive side.
