Qarabag vs Ajax prediction

Ajax are the only team remaining the league phase without a single point to their name, which underlines just abysmal it’s been for them this season. Lack of bite up top, lack of stability at the back, this is one of the weakest Ajax sides we’ve ever seen in the Champions League and the supporters of such a grand old club deserve better.

Qarabag though, have no doubt surprised a few this season in Europe and two wins from five is testament to that. They’ve picked up notable results such as a win away to Benfica, not to mention drawing at home to Chelsea. If the Azerbaijani side play as well as we’ve seen from them so far at home across the league phase, then they stand an excellent chance of a positive result.

When considering just how much of a car crash Ajax has been and how the players may well be losing motivation in this competition having lost five from five, it makes sense to back Qarabag with home advantage in their favour.

Qarabag vs Ajax Tip: Qarabag to win
