Punjab vs NorthEast United prediction

Punjab come into this one on the back of having kicked off their campaign with a slender 1-0 defeat to a strong Jamshedpur side before then easing past Bengaluru by two goals to nil at the Sree Kanreerava Stadium last week.

NorthEast United, on the other hand, started their campaign with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of East Bengal before beginning to turn things around with a couple of 1-1 draws against Bengaluru and then Mumbai City.

NorthEast United have perhaps been fortunate to earn those points on the board in recent weeks and, with home advantage, siding with Punjab is the way to go here.
