Pumas UNAM vs Vancouver Whitecaps prediction

Pumas UNAM continued their inconsistent run of form with a tough test away to Cruz Azul at the weekend in a game in which they suffered a 3-2 loss. They have now managed just three victories in their last 11 matches across all competitions as they sit just about tucked inside the top ten and the playoff places in the Clausura of Liga MX.

The Vancouver Whitecaps have started the 2025 Major League Soccer season very well as they sit at the top of the Western Conference after seven matches thanks to five victories and a draw in those seven games. The visitors’ most recent outing saw them comfortably defeat Colorado Rapids by two goals to nil at the weekend.

Pumas, as all Mexican sides will believe, will fancy their chances at home to MLS opposition but Vancouver have proven themselves to be strong this season and were unfortunate not to take a lead into this second-leg.

Pumas UNAM vs Vancouver Whitecaps tip: Double chance – Vancouver Whitecaps to win or draw
