Portsmouth vs Derby prediction

Portsmouth have enjoyed some impressive performances and results at Fratton Park. However, just as it appeared to be that Pompey had pushed themselves clear of any trouble, they suffered a last-gasp 1-0 defeat to Coventry City in midweek to mean they have now suffered five defeats in their last six matches in the Championship.

Derby County, on the other hand, have been much-improved since the appointment of the impressive John Eustace. They produced four successive victories either side of the March international break before a 1-0 loss to Swansea City. They recovered from that loss, though, with a goalless draw against title challenging Burnley at Pride Park the other day.

This is going to be a tense and nervy affair between last year’s top two teams in League One. That said, they will also both fancy their chances so both teams scoring may well be a good bet.
