Porto vs Nice prediction
Following the appointment of Francesco Farioli, formerly of Nice, Porto are top-of-the-table once again in Portugal and most recently hammered Sintrense by four goals to nil in the fourth round of the Taca de Portugal. They have collected seven points from their opening four matches in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.
They face a Nice side that were most recently annihilated by five goals to one against Olympique de Marseille in the Derby de la Medeterranee. The southerners have been reasonably impressive, against the neglect of ownership group INEOS, but they are in poor form and do have a generally limited squad.
It is a Francesco Farioli derby and there is a feeling that Nice will depart northern Portugal feeling a real sense of regret about the fact that Farioli is no longer at the Allianz Riviera.
Porto vs Nice tip: Porto to win & under 3.5 goals
