The prediction
Port Adelaide have drifted away from the top ten and the playoff places in the AFL. The hosts succumbed to a 14-point loss to St Kilda in their most recent outing, meaning that they have now won just six with 11 defeats of their 17 matches.
They now face a Fremantle side that, captained by Alex Pearce, have been supreme throughout the campaign, sitting two victories clear of the Sydney Swans. The Dockers defeated second place the Sydney Swans last week to cement their spot at the top.
Port Adelaide are coasting towards the end of their campaign with little to play for and Fremantle would have to be viewed as firm favourites to get the win once again.
