Paris vs Auxerre prediction

Paris FC come into this one on the back of a 4-2 defeat to Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy last weekend in a game in which they were perhaps the better side. The Parisians, following their promotion to the top-flight last season, have started the campaign with their 13 matches consisting of 45 goals.

They now face an Auxerre side that begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting rock-bottom in Ligue 1 with just two victories in their 13 matches, having collected eight points. The visitors did manage to earn a hard-fought goalless draw against Olympique Lyonnais at Stade de l’Abbe-Deschamps last weekend.

Auxerre appear only capable of shutting things down in order to get a result and Paris, with home advantage, will therefore not be too worried about getting over the line.

Paris vs Auxerre tip: Paris to win & under 3.5 goals
