PAOK vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv prediction

PAOK Salonika come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Panetolikos in the Greek Super League at the weekend to continue a reasonably underwhelming start to this season. The Thessaloniki-based outfit have now managed five wins from their opening nine matches across all competitions.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv will await the verdict on whether or not they will be kept in the UEFA Europa League, having qualified for the tournament as a result of edging past Dynamo Kyiv by three goals to two on aggregate in the playoff round. The Israeli champions were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Pafos in July.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv have been quite an entertaining and attacking team to watch in recent seasons, and, whilst PAOK remain favourites, this one should again be good to watch.
