The Colombian posted a 6-4 6-3 success over the American and will now meet Panna Udvardy in the last four.
The Hungarian eighth seed defeated Katarzyna Kawa 7-6 6-1 to continue her best run of the year.
This will be their fourth meeting with Udvardy leading the head-to-head 2-1. It is 1-1 on clay but Arango did win their most recent meeting on the dirt back in 2024.
