Panna Udvardy vs Anhelina Kalinina prediction
Panna Udvardy booked a place in only the second tour-level semi-final of her career after a straight sets win over Camila Osorio. The pair exchanged breaks in the early part of the first set, with Udvardy squandering the opportunity of serving it out. However, she would break once more in the 12th game to take the lead. The Hungarian broke twice more in the second set as she went on to win 7-5 6-3.
She now faces Anhelina Kalinina. The Ukrainian advanced to the last four after a win over fifth seed Anna Bondar. Kalinina led after the first set and despite some struggles on serve in the second, she would clinch a 6-4 7-5 victory.
Kalinina has a very impressive record on the surface this season, with 29 wins from 34 matches on clay overall, including the lower-level events. Udvardy is seeking a second final of the campaign, but Kalinina keeps finding a way to win.
