Panathinaikos vs Viktoria Plzen prediction

Following the appointment of Rafa Benitez, Panathinaikos have been much-improved in the last few weeks. The Greeks most recently shared a 2-2 draw with AEL Limassol at the weekend to mean that they have suffered just one defeat in their last seven matches across all competitions.

Viktoria Plzen have started steadily in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League with two victories and three draws in their five matches thus far. The Czechs have struggled domestically, though, and that continued at the weekend with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Slovacko.

In typical Benitez style, Panathinaikos are quite rigid and tight. They are favourites with home advantage for what is expected to be a low-scoring encounter in the Greek capital.

Panathinaikos vs Viktoria Plzen tip: Panathinaikos to win & under 3.5 goals
