Oxford vs Leicester prediction

Oxford United gained promotion to the Championship in 2024 and Gary Rowett did an excellent job to steer the U’s clear from danger last season. They were always expected to struggle this year, and that appears to be the case after three successive defeats and then a 2-2 draw with Coventry City to kick off the 2025/26 campaign.

They face a Leicester City that have off-field problems to deal with and the pressure is on former Queens Park Rangers boss Marti Cifuentes, but the Foxes went into the international break on the back of an impressive 2-0 defeat of Birmingham City after a few unconvincing performances to start off with.

Despite those unconvincing performances, Leicester have now won three out of four and they now come up against an Oxford side that can be stubborn and difficult to play against, but generally lack quality.

Oxford vs Leicester tip: Leicester to win & under 3.5 goals
