Nuno Borges vs Thiago Seyboth Wild prediction

Nuno Borges enjoyed a decent run at the Monte-Carlo Masters, advancing through his first-round match against Holger Rune after the Dane retired and then staging an incredible comeback in the third set to defeat Pedro Martinez in the next round.

His campaign ended with a heavy defeat to Stefanos Tsitsipas and he has since won two of his four matches on the surface. He competed in the Estoril Challenger as the third seed last week but lost to Miomir Kecmanovic in the quarters after defeating Marton Fucsovics in three sets.

Thiago Seyboth Wild made it through qualifying to reach the main draw in Rome but has not made an impact over the past month after a string of early exits on the main tour and at Challenger level. 

He does have the upper hand in the head-to-head, winning both of their encounters which took place last year. However, this is their first match on clay and Borges, the higher ranked player and in better form, should have too much for the Brazilian.
