  • Nottingham Forest have lost only two of their last 13 UEFA competition matches at home (W8 D3).
  • Nottingham Forest have kept ten clean sheets in their last 12 UEFA competition matches at home.
  • Malmö have lost each of their last five UEFA competition matches against English opposition, failing to score in four of them.
  • Malmö have won only one of their last 24 UEFA competition group/league matches (D4 L19).

Nottingham Forest vs Malmo prediction

Sean Dyche, who has followed Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou in the dugout at the City Ground this season, has sparked a massive improvement from Nottingham Forest. That continued at the weekend as they hammered English champions Liverpool by three goals to nil at Anfield.

Malmo come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of GAIS to finish off the 2025 Allsvenskan season a few weeks ago. That ended a very underwhelming Swedish top-flight campaign as they finished in an underwhelming sixth spot. Their most recent European outing saw them beaten 1-0 by Panathinaikos.

Malmo are an extremely poor side and they are now not even playing competitive domestic football so a comfortable Forest victory is to be expected for this one.
