Norway vs Moldova prediction

Norway, with a 3-0 demolition of four-time world champions Italy the standout performance and result, have started UEFA qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with four wins from four, as they sit three ahead of Israel and six clear of the Italians. They most recently edged past Finland by a goal to nil in a friendly the other day.

They now face a Moldova side that had improved in qualification for UEFA EURO 2024 but a poor UEFA Nations League campaign last autumn has now been followed by a disappointing 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, too. The Moldovans have scored twice and collected no points with 14 conceded in their four qualifiers.

Moldova may have caused a few issues about 18 months ago, but Norway have also enormously improved and found a winning formula, so they should win comfortably.

Norway vs Moldova tip: Norway to win -2 handicap
