However, the runaway Central & West Group leaders won’t want to go into the quarter-finals on the back of consecutive defeats, so expect them to snap into gear against Warwickshire Bears.
It’s been a competition to forget for the Bears, winning just five from 11 group matches. They are a better team than the numbers suggest but ultimately it hasn’t clicked for them and they’ve been left frustrated at critical moments.
