The prediction

North Melbourne come into this one on the back of a 124-point demolition at the hands of AFL ladder leaders Fremantle in their most recent outing. That means that they have now succumbed to five defeats in six matches as they sit four points outside of the top ten.

They now face the West Coast Eagles on the back of a six-point loss to Port Adelaide as they sit a win further back in the hunt for the playoffs than their upcoming opponents. The South Australians had won two of their previous three matches.

North Melbourne are not in good nick and, even with their home advantage, may struggle against a slightly improved Eagles side at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
