The prediction

North Melbourne come into this one on the back of a 68-point defeat to the Adelaide Crows in their most recent outing, last week. The Victorians had won four of their opening six matches but that against the Crows was their fourth successive loss.

They now face a Gold Coast side that begin Round 11 sitting fourth in the AFL table, level on points with Geelong but two victories back from the leaders the Sydney Swans and the impressive Fremantle.

Gold Coast have now won three on the bounce so, while it may not be straightforward against an awkward North Melbourne side, the visitors are the favourites.
