Nikoloz Basilashvili will aim for an upset when he takes on seventh seed Sebastian Baez. 

The Georgian battled hard to come through qualifying and will feel his style will suit the conditions ahead of the Argentine clay-court specialist.

Basilashvili has struggled for tour-level wins this year but Baez’s form hasn’t been great in recent months, which makes this a tricky one to call. 

The South American sits 73 places better off in the rankings so is a safer bet on paper, but the diminutive world number 41 can be overpowered on this sort of surface and it may be worth looking at Basilashvili pushing this three or pulling off the surprise.
