Nice vs Rennes prediction

Nice have been left to ruin by their actively disassociating ownership group INEOS. However, the southerners did manage to edge past Lorient in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France in midweek, defeating the European challengers on penalties after a goalless draw.

Rennes come into this one on the back of an impressive run of form that leaves them sitting tucked inside the top six ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. The visitors’ most recent outing saw them edge past Toulouse by a goal to nil at Roazhon Park last weekend.

Rennes are in excellent form since the appointment of Franck Haise and, with Nice now struggling aside from occasional fight shown, siding with Rennes is the way to go here.
