New Zealand vs West Indies prediction
After batting through 163.3 overs in the fourth innings to rescue a draw with a win not always out of the equation, West Indies deserve serious credit for their first test performance. The hero of the piece was Justin Greaves, who came in at number six with the Windies in big trouble at 72/4, only to dig in and take his scoring opportunities when they arrived, racking up a wonderful 202 not out. He found brilliant support in the form of Kemar Roach, who ate up 233 balls for his unbeaten 58.
Shai Hope should also take great credit for his 140 at number four, he supported Chase initially before Roach continued the job later on. But this New Zealand side will be determined not to let things slip once again. They remain clear favourites in this second test and it will be really hard for West Indies to deny them a second time. The sensible move would be to back the hosts.
