New Zealand vs Ireland prediction

New Zealand cannot afford any more slip ups after what has been an awful start to the tournament for the reigning champions. Losing here would likely end their hopes of retaining their title. Ireland put up a decent fight against England but fell short, meaning they too have lost two from two to start the competition.

Both teams are in bad form but New Zealand have more experience and the quality of personnel. Orla Prendergast is a threat and will need to be contained by the White Ferns. However, there is no excuse for them not to get the better of a clearly inferior Irish team despite such a poor start.

New Zealand vs Ireland tip: New Zealand to win
