New York City vs Inter Miami Prediction

New York City come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Charlotte at the weekend, courtesy of a brace of penalties scored by Costa Rica international striker Alonso Martinez. NYCFC have now won of their last six matches since their Leagues Cup group stage elimination in early August.

Inter Miami have three games in hand on Eastern Conference leaders the Philadelphia Union, sitting eights points behind the Pennsylvanians. Javier Mascherano’s side have enjoyed a couple of impressive performances of late, defeating the Seattle Sounders and then entertainingly beating DC United last week.

Inter Miami head north to New York with a renewed confidence and vigour this weekend, but the hosts also have some good form to fall back on to, too, and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one this midweek.

New York City vs Inter Miami Tip: Both teams to score
