Nantes vs Lens prediction

Nantes remain stuck towards the lower reaches of the table and are struggling to find any real consistency, particularly at home where defensive lapses continue to cost them points.

Luis Castro's side have won just one of their last 11 games coming into this contest, most recently losing 3-0 away to Lyon last weekend.

They have conceded far too frequently at Stade de la Beaujoire this season and now face a Lens side who find themselves at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

Lens travel west in good form and with the division’s joint-best defensive record. They have won their last four league games, and although Nantes may have their moments going forward, Lens’ rock-solid structure and superior quality in both boxes should tell. Consider backing the new league leaders to continue their excellent run.

Nantes vs Lens tip: Lens to win
