Monaco vs Galatasaray prediction

A surprise 0-1 defeat at home to Union SG stunned the Galatasaray supporters and brought to an end a run of three straight Champions League victories for Okan Buruk’s side. It also rammed home the fact that they still have plenty of work to do if the Turkish giants are to qualify straight through to the round of 16.

Monaco are building a little momentum despite just hanging onto a playoff place. They’ve not lost any of their last four matches in the league phase, albeit three of those have been draws. Key for them is the need to increase their potency going forward. As of now they average just over a goal per game and at this level of competition, that average needs to rise sharply.

Where Monaco will struggle here is dealing with the quality of Victor Osimhen. The Super Eagles star boasts six goals in just three Champions League appearances in 2025-26 including a hat-trick in Amsterdam against Ajax. If Osimhen starts, back the Nigerian to get on the scoresheet once again.

Monaco vs Galatasaray Tip: Victor Osimhen to score anytime
