Fighting out of Houston, Texas, Trevin Giles (14-4) will be desperate to get back to winning ways this weekend. Currently riding a two-fight losing streak, Giles is coming off of a TKO defeat to Michael Morales earlier this year. Giles will know that he must put in a flawless performance to come away with the win this weekend.
As for his opponent this weekend, Louis Cosce (7-1) is coming off of his first professional career defeat which was against Sasha Palatnikov nearly two years ago. Currently, 4-1 in his last five outings, Cosce’s last win came against Victor Reyna on the Dana White’s Contender Series two years ago.

Heading into this weekend’s welterweight matchup, Giles will have the advantage in both the height and reach department.
This one is certainly an intriguing matchup. We’d be surprised if this fight goes the distance. In his last few fights, Giles hasn’t looked convincing. However, if we see glimpses of his early days, it could be a tough night at the office for Cosce. From the off, we suspect that Cosce will look to be the aggressor and swing for the bleachers. With that being said, if Giles can get past the first round, that is when we will see him look to punch his way to victory with his efficient striking and power.
