NICOLAS DALBY VS CLAUDIO SILVA LOWDOWN
Looking to pick up his third win in the UFC this weekend, Nicolas Dalby (19-4-1-2) is hoping to get back to winning ways. Dalby is coming off of a decision defeat to Tim Means back in June of 2021. Fighting on European soil for the first time in three years, Dalby will be itching to put on a show in front of the UK faithful.
As for this weekend’s opponent, Claudio Silva (14-3) is coming into the fight off the back of two consecutive defeats. Silva suffered defeats against James Krause and Court McGee, the Brazilian will be desperate to pick up his sixth win in the UFC this weekend. However, he knows that it will take some doing against a tough opponent.

Heading into this weekend’s welterweight showdown, both men share the same height. However, Dalby will have the edge in the reach department.
Traditionally, Dalby tends to start fights very slowly. If he starts poorly against Silva, then he could be in trouble. Silva has good grappling and is skilled enough to capitalise on any weakness shown by Dalby. With that being said, Silva’s cardio is very questionable. So, if Dalby can survive the first five minutes, then he will look to dictate the fight. We suspect that Dalby will look to attack the body and chop Silva’s legs, and maybe sneak in his own takedowns towards the end of the fight.
