MATHEUS NICOLAU VS DAVID DVORAK LOWDOWN
Currently riding a four-fight win streak, Matheus Nicolau (17-2-1) has the chance to climb up the flyweight rankings this weekend with a big win against David Dvorak. Coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Tim Elliot back in October last year, Nicolau will be eager to show what he is capable of achieving in the flyweight division.
As for David Dvorak (20-3), the Czech Republic native is certainly one to keep an eye on in the very near future. A real prospect, Dvorak has not lost a professional outing since 2012. Coming off of a first-round finish over Juancamilo Ronderos back in May 2021, Dvorak will be looking for an active 2022 as he looks to put the flyweight division on notice.

It’s criminal to see how low this fight is on the card. A win for either man will open up so many doors in the near future. When looking at the fight, it looks as if this one will be a real tactical outing. Dvorak will have the sharper hands. However, Nicolau’s ability on the mat could pay dividends for the Brazilian. With that being said, Dvorak has excellent takedown defence. Therefore, we suspect that Dvorak will control proceedings from start to finish.
