MASON JONES VS L’UDOVIT KLEIN LOWDOWN
Fighting out of Blaenavon, Wales, Mason Jones (11-1-1) will be desperate to pick his second win in the UFC this weekend. After an unsuccessful debut against Mike Davis, followed by a no-contest against Alan Patrick, Jones finally picked up his first UFC win against David Onama back in October of 2021.
Looking to spoil the party for the Welshman this weekend is Ľudovít Klein (18-4). Klein will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins this weekend, following his split decision victory against Devonte Smith just over three months ago. Currently 3-2 in his last five outings, Klein will be praying that a win would start some sort of momentum going forward.

Heading into this weekend’s lightweight bout, Jones will have the height advantage. However, both men share the same reach.
This match-up is an intriguing one. Klein was originally set to fight Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC 277. A fight with Bahamondes would have been more comfortable for Ľudovít. In the showdown with Jones, we suspect that Mason will be relentless in his forward pressure. Mason will have to be aware of Ľudovít’s power. However, if Jones can get through the early rounds, we believe he will then land the powerful combinations and takedowns in order to get the win.
