Making his UFC debut this weekend, Martin Buday (8-1-1) earned a chance to compete in the UFC following a stint on the Dana White’s Contender Series. After impressing on the Babilon MMA regional scene, Buday will see this as the perfect chance to showcase his talent to the UFC fans.
As for his opponent this weekend, Lukasz Brzeski (10-1) will be looking to keep the good run of form going. His only defeat came in his second career outing against Juan Espino. Buday earned the chance to fight in the UFC following a successful showing on the Dana White’s Contender Series. He would go on to beat Chris Barnett on his promotional debut.

Heading into this weekend’s heavyweight outing, despite both men sharing the same height, Brzeski will have the slight reach advantage.
On paper, it’s fair to say that this is a tough fight for Brzeski. Brzeski will be looking to strike his way inside and win the clinch exchanges. However, Buday’s ability in the clinch is second to none. The fact that Brzeski’s cardio is questionable will play into Buday’s hands. Therefore, from the off, we suspect that Brzeski will look to start on the front foot, with Buday trying to figure Lukasz out. Eventually, Buday’s power will be too much for Brzeski.
