Making his UFC debut this weekend, Jack Della Maddalena (10-2) will be looking to get off to a great start. After defeating Ange Loosa in the Dana White’s Contender Series, Maddalena’s performance earned him a professional contract to sign with the promotion. Nine out of Jack’s ten professional wins have come via finish. This weekend, he’ll be hoping to steal the show by putting his name on the map.
As for Rodriguez (4-0), he’ll be stepping in on short notice and will also be making his UFC debut this weekend. Most fighters would shy away from a short notice, but Rodriguez wasn’t going to turn down a chance to compete under the UFC lights. All four of Rodriguez’s professional wins have come via knockout. Therefore, he’ll be chasing an explosive debut at UFC 270.

MMA fans haven’t really had the chance to watch Rodriguez in action. With that being said, from the looks of it, he is a hard hitter. This is Mixed Martial Arts, everyone stands a punchers chance of winning. Nothing is impossible in this sport. Maddalena has a lot of experience under his belt for a 25-year-old. We suspect he’ll attack the body early and try and pick Rodriguez apart on the feet.
