CODY DURDEN VS QILENG AORI LOWDOWN
Cody Durden (11-3-1) will be looking to get his first UFC win this weekend in his third fight with the promotion. In his last fight, Durden lost via submission to Jimmy Flick. Training at the American Top Team Atlanta facilities, Durden is 3-1-1 in his last five fights. Fighting out of Georgia, USA, Cody was offered the chance to fight in the UFC after impressing on the regional scene.
Qileng Aori (18-8) is on the same boat as Cody. ‘The Mongolian Murderer’ has yet to taste victory since signing with the company. With that being said, this will only be Aori’s second appearance in the UFC. Aori lost on his promotional debut to Jeff Molina via decision. Therefore, ‘The Mongolian Murderer’ will look to get back to winning ways and get his first UFC win.
CODY DURDEN VS QILENG AORI PREDICTION
Going into this fight, The Mongolian Murderer’ will have a two-inch reach over Cody Durden. Three out of Aori’s last four wins have come via a form of knockout.
As for Durden, Cody has faced some difficult opponents in his first two UFC fights. Cody has excellent wrestling and is also a good striker.
Durden will look to try and chop away Aori’s legs early on. Eventually, when Durden sees Aori starting to slow down, Cody will then aim to take the fight to the floor and attempt to get the submission finish.
