CHAS SKELLY VS MARK STRIEGL LOWDOWN
Currently 3-1-1 in his last five fights, it’s been just over two years since we’ve last seen Chas Skelly step foot inside the cage. In his last fight, Skelly managed to come away with a big win against Jordan Griffin. This weekend, Chas will be looking to make up for the lost time by going on to beat Mark Striegl.
Like Skelly, it’s also been a while since MMA fans witnessed Mark Striegl (18-3) step foot inside the cage. After impressing on the URCC scene, Striegl was given a chance to compete under the UFC lights. Unfortunately, his debut didn’t quite go to plan, losing to Said Nurmagomedov via TKO.
CHAS SKELLY VS MARK STRIEGL PREDICTION
Going into this weekend’s bout, Skelly has a significant advantage in height and reach. After competing at bantamweight in his last fight, Striegl will be gaining an extra 15 pounds for the upcoming clash with Skelly. It’ll be interesting to see how these two match up on paper. Striegl’s concern is his poor gas tank which Skelly will be looking to exploit. The concern for Skelly is what version shows up. It’s been a while since MMA fans have seen Chas in action. However, from the off, Skelly will be looking to control proceedings.
