Looking to establish some consistency, Anthony Hernandez (8-2) has the chance to make it two wins on the bounce. Currently 2-2-1 in his last five professional outings, Hernandez is coming off of a big win over Rodolfo Viera just over a year ago. A big win this weekend could open a few doors for Hernandez heading into the summer of 2022.

As for Josh Fremd (9-2), the American native will be making his promotional debut this weekend. Originally, Hernandez was due to fight Dricus Du Plessis. Then, Du Plessis was signed on to fight Kelvin Gastelum. However, the fight has since fallen through. Fremd is 4-1 in his last five fights and is coming off of a submission win over Joel Bauman.

Heading into this weekend’s middleweight bout, Fremd will have both the height and reach advantage over Hernandez. Looking at this fight, it’s fair to say that Hernandez will be happy with the opponent in terms of how the pair matchup. Hernandez possesses the power to capitalise on Fremd’s poor defence. With that being said, Fremd’s best chance is his ability to wrestle. However, we suspect that Hernandez will control proceedings from the get-go and look to put Fremd away early.
