ALEX MORONO VS MICKEY GALL LOWDOWN
After securing back to back wins over Donald Cerrone and David Zawada, Alex Morono (20-7) will be aiming to make it three wins in a row when he faces Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 31. Fighting out of Houston, Texas. 'The Great White' is the big favourite this weekend.
As for Mickey Gall (7-3), Gall is coming off of a submission win against Jordan Williams three months ago. Mickey is 3-2 in his last five fights and will be aiming to secure back to back wins for the first time in over five years when he faces a tough Alex Morono this weekend.
ALEX MORONO VS MICKEY GALL PREDICTION
Throughout his UFC tenure so far, Mickey Gall has lacked consistency in his performances. Gall has alternated between wins and defeats in recent times. With six out of his seven professional wins coming via a form of submission, we expect Gall to take the fight to the floor from the get-go.
Morono has been easily taken down in his last few fights. With that being said, his opponents have found it difficult to secure the finish. If Morono can weather the takedown attempts and keep the fight on the feet, then we expect Alex to pick Gall apart on the feet.
